1. Introduction
TrueSpend ("we", "our", or "us") operates the TrueSpend mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how TrueSpend, a personal wealth and expense tracking application developed by Dasightic, collects, uses, and handles your data.
2. Information We Collect
To provide you with a comprehensive financial tracking experience, we collect the following types of information:
- Personal Information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address for authentication purposes.
- Financial Data: We collect the data you explicitly enter into the app to manage your wealth, which includes:
- Income and expense transactions
- Custom budget limits and categories
- Details of recurring EMIs, SIPs, and investments
- Insurance policy renewal dates and goal targets
- Purchase History: If you subscribe to TrueSpend Prime, we collect basic purchase status information to unlock premium features. We do not collect or store your actual credit card numbers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data strictly to operate the Service. Specifically, to:
- Calculate your spendable balance and automated "Cycle Sweep" savings.
- Trigger automatic logging of your recurring EMIs and SIPs.
- Provide detailed financial insights and visual dashboards.
- Secure your account and synchronize your data across your devices.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your financial data is securely stored using Firebase services provided by Google. All data transmitted between your device and our databases is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS protocol.
Additionally, TrueSpend offers an optional on-device Biometric App Lock (FaceID/Fingerprint) to ensure your financial data remains private if someone else accesses your physical device.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal or financial data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
Your data is only processed by trusted infrastructure partners strictly for the purpose of operating the app.
6. User Control & Data Deletion
You have absolute control over your financial data. Within the TrueSpend application, you can at any time:
- Export Data: Download a full CSV spreadsheet of all your logged transactions.
- Erase All Data: Permanently wipe your entire financial history from our servers while keeping your account active.
- Delete Account: Permanently delete your user account, authentication profile, and all associated financial data from our systems. This action is irreversible.
7. Third-Party Services
TrueSpend utilizes the following verified third-party infrastructure services:
- Google Firebase: For secure authentication, database storage, and hosting.
- RevenueCat: To securely verify and manage TrueSpend Prime subscriptions directly with the Google Play Store.
These services process data according to their own strict privacy and security policies.
8. Children's Privacy
TrueSpend is a financial tool intended for adult use. It is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

11. Smart Tracking & AI Feature Addendum
The following supplemental terms apply to users utilizing TrueSpend Prime AI and Automation features.
Smart Notification Parsing
If you explicitly enable "Smart UPI Tracking", TrueSpend scans incoming notifications to automate expense logging. We apply strict local filters to ignore personal messages. Only financial notifications are securely parsed (with a Google Vertex AI fallback) to extract transaction amounts. We never store your SMS or personal emails.
AI Chat History
Transcripts of your conversations with the Vertex AI Copilot are stored in your isolated, encrypted vault to maintain conversational context. This data is governed by the same strict deletion and "No Selling" policies outlined in Sections 5 and 6 above.
